Who We Are

Founded in 2018, Woods to Wetlands, LLC is a family and woman owned business dedicated to restoring, enhancing, and maintaining natural areas throughout the Chicago region. Our team includes professionally licensed wetland specialists, prescribed burn managers, arborists and herbicide applicators with at least 30 years of combined habitat restoration experience. W2W has worked on numerous projects involving the conservation of rare plant species, restoring remnant habitats, botanical surveys, prescription burns, converting urban turf lawns into native landscapes, installing native gardens, and everything in-between.

What We Stand For

Our company believes in giving back. We are dedicated stewards to the land and are involved with the local community. W2W staff devote time during the week and weekends supporting the missions of nature-based organizations and environmental committees. We lead and participate in volunteer restoration workdays, support fundraiser events for nonprofit organizations, and propagate rare plant species for their incorporation into restoration projects – and we do this all with smiles on our faces, pruners in our hands, and mud on our pants and boots. We strive to serve others and preserve our native heritage because it’s the right thing to do in our ever-changing world.
